right in the centre of Rome close to the city’s main
transport hub, Stazione Termini. Hotel Virgilio Rome
guests benefit from quick easy access to the numerous modes
of transport which meet at Stazione Termini. All of the main
tourist attractions are accessible from here. Many sites,
such as the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and Piazza Spagna, can
be even reached on foot.

How to reach us
Arriving at the hotel couldn’t be easier. Both international
airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino
Airport, are well connected making the last part
of your journey straightforward. You can get a taxi if you
wish. Fiumicino’s Leonardo Da Vinci Airport
is about 42 kilometres from the three star Hotel Virgilio
Rome while Ciampino is around 17 kilometres. Fixed
fares have been established for all taxi journeys into the
city’s Aurelian Walls. The fixed fare from Fiumicino
is €40 and from Ciampino it’s
€30, inclusive of up to four passengers and luggage.
However there are cheaper ways of arriving at the hotel.
Ciampino Airport has numerous direct bus
connections to Rome’s Termini Station and to the local
Anagnina metro station close by. There are also coach operators
running direct services to Termini lasting about 40 minutes.
COTRAL/Schiaffini operates buses outside the airport terminal
taking travellers to Anagnina. This journey lasts about 30
minutes. Regular buses also operate between the local Ciampino
train station where you can take a train to Termini.
